Was Harry Houdini involved with the Paranormal?

I have heard this question a few times and it is true. Harry Houdini, the great illusionist from the early part of the century, was involved with paranormal phenomena. Although many people think he was involved in a different way then he really was. A lot of people think he was a haunted person and used this haunt power in his illusions. In fact, Harry Houdini was not a haunted person, nor had anything to do with it in that respect. Harry was a member of a group of skeptics that would travel to said hauntings and possessed people and try to prove the phenomena as natural and not paranormal.
