We were invited to give a lecture at the Rhine
Research center. Now anyone that is truly into Ghosts and the
Paranormal will know what the Rhine center at Duke University is.
It is one of the most respected research centers focusing on paranormal phenomena.
They focus mainly on Poltergeist and mind over matter. This
lecture was really special because the people who attend the lecture
were invited to take part in an investigation the next night at a
local haunted hot spot. I picked the Mordecai house in Raleigh
North Carolina. It was a beautiful mansion from the
1700's. A lot of the patrons and the staff of the
house have said to see a female apparition walking the house. They
have heard noises and all kinds of strange things have happened.
The lecture itself took place at the Rhine
Research center. There was a good group of people attending and it
was a lot of fun. I based the lecture on the mechanics of Paranormal
investigating and a basic run down on paranormal phenomena. I
was a little nervous because Dr. William G Roll was in the audience.
Dr. Roll has basically pioneered paranormal investigating,
coming up with such theories as the EMF Paranormal phenomena
correlation. He is the king of true Poltergeist scientific
investigations. He was even gracious enough to come with us to the
investigation site before the investigation to give us his take on
the place. To have this man all to myself for 3 hours and pick his
brain was amazing. To learn more about him just type in his name to
any search engine, or go to the Library and read one of his books.
The investigation was a lot of fun; the Mordecai house is
filled with so much history. They opened the doors for us at
9pm and locked us in for as long as we wanted. The staff was
so generous even letting me look through some of their books in the
library, some of them dating back 200 years. We didn't find
anything on our investigation and nothing turned up in any of the
pictures but as we all know that doesn't mean anything. It was
great to be invited to the Rhine Research center and to meet Dr.
William G. Roll, whom I have admired since I was about 15.

Looking for EMF readings (guy in black is a State
Historian)

Jason Gibby - Friend of New England
Paranormal

After finding a severe EMF spike in the same spot
many times, the next step is looking for a natural cause for the
spike before assuming it is paranormal in origin. This includes
going to the basement looking for exposed wire, or anything that
could emit EMF energy (something she learned at the Lecture).

Dr. William Roll measures EMF in Milligaus. This
piece of equipment costs about $3,500. I'll stick
to my $89 EMF gauge Unless we get some more funding. Any takers?
