How long have you been interested in the paranormal?

I can’t remember when I started being interested in it. I had to be really young. But I started to get really interested about 2001.

What started this interest?

My uncle has been an investigator since before I was born so I was raised around it. Ghosts were always a typical conversation around my family’s dinner table. I have always loved talking and hearing about ghosts.

How did you become involved with New England Paranormal?

I was watching ghost hunters and went onto their web page. I then saw the links to family members page and looked for a group around my area. I talked to the group for a few months, then decided I really liked what they are trying to accomplish, so I put in my application, went to a class and got in!

When you go on an investigation what do you expect? What don't you expect?

I usually am not expecting much to happen. I do however expect to bang on things, and try to get doors to open by themselves. I always try to figure out non paranormal reasons for things that are happening. But I am always in the back of my mind wishing something will happen that I can in no way prove it isn’t paranormal. The rush of when something does happen is great! Yeah I would say I am addicted now.

If someone wants to get involved with Paranormal Research/Investigations, what would you suggest to them?

I will give you the best advice I got when I was searching around for a group. Talk to a group for a while before trying to join. Make sure you get along good with the group and are looking to accomplish the same goals and go at it the same way as the other members. You are going to be spending long hours with them. That can get very boring, but if you get along good with them it can be enjoyable. Also trust is a HUGE part of being in a group. Make sure you trust the people you are with.
