Barre Mass. Ghost

I grew up in Barre, MA. In New England small towns there are a lot of ghost stories and here is just one of them. Barre is a typical New England small town, complete with a town common and its share of old cemeteries. Each old building has a story and most families too. At the center of town there was a beautiful hotel. This was the Barre Hotel. When it finally burned down it was over 100 years old. The Hotel was decorated with antiques and had passed through a couple of owners. I never stayed there personally for it burned down before I had the chance but one story around this grand hotel sticks in my mind. I heard it from many people in time but the first person to tell it to me was my childhood best friend. Apparently a young girl was pushed from the third floor window of this hotel some time ago. First reports started to come that she would haunt the room she had stayed in. The owners didn't want her to scare away the guests so they closed off the room. This did not stop her ... she decided to haunt the third floor so the owners and the guests accepted it. The hotel hit hard times and had to close the third floor to save money. The young lady decided then to haunt the whole hotel. Eventually it went bankrupt and then soon afterwards burnt down. I wonder where she went.
