Something in my House

I have lived in the same house for the past 13 years. Since I was 8 years old. The first time I saw something strange, I was about nine. I woke up in the middle of the night one time and saw a child standing in the middle of my room. I couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl, but they looked only a little older than I was at the time. I could only really see a silhouette, but you could tell there was shape to it. I sat up in the bed and watched it for a few minutes, during which time I could feel it watching me as well. Then, slowly, it seemed to fade away, like a wisp of smoke. A few years later, I noticed that during the day, many times there would be something resembling a small green smoky cloud which would follow me around the house. Me and several of my friends have seen it. We named it Goober because it seemed to like the name. When it would follow me around the house, I could tell it to go sit on the couch, and sure enough, when I would walk around the house later, it would be hovering a few inches above the seat of the couch.

Other things I have seen, seem to center around my bedroom. One night, I woke up in the middle of the night to see a figure of a man standing beside my window. He was dressed in a long hooded robe of a dark color. Thinking nothing of it, (by this time seeing people standing around my room had become a regular thing) I rolled over and went back to sleep. I woke a second time and he was still standing in my room, this time beside the bed. Again, I rolled over and went back to sleep, thinking nothing of it. The third time I woke up, he was standing at the end of my bed. This time, I could see his face clearly. His eyes appeared to be dark brown or black, his skin very light, and he had a dark mustache and beard. He raised his hands in front of him and there in his hands were two glowing blue balls that seemed to be made of fire. He then flung his hands at me, releasing the balls which flew towards my face, fading out about six inches from my face. When the balls of light were close to my face, one thing I noticed about them was that they were very cold. Icy.

A few nights later, I again woke up with the feeling that something was watching me. I rolled over and about three inches from my face was a round head, with just a few hairs sticking up from it. I could see that there was a body attached, very small, like that of a child. The flesh was of a greenish color, and seemed to be almost melting and peeling off the body. The thing grinned at me, bearing human like teeth which seemed to be rotting from the skull. The eyes were very large and sunken in. As I backed away from this horrifying apparition, it lifted off the ground, seeming to float over my head and through the wall behind me.

There have been many other strange occurrences around my home, including slamming doors and cabinets, windows opening and closing on their own, things flying across the room or furniture being moved around, footsteps heard in hallways and walking through rooms where you can look and see that there is no one there. Many different things have happened to suggest that there is something not human here in my home.
